THE STORY SO FAR...

It's been several years since saving Earth from the space colony ARK. It's been radio silent since. This finally breaks when news that an archipelago, towards the west, had been reported to being deforested and patrolled by swarms of robots. Finally having an opportunity for an adventure after so long, he makes a break towards the islands, alone.

However, what was supposed to be a quick refresh turns sour quick, as without warning, Sonic is trapped with in barren, cold void of Subspace. Despite heeding the words of the only resident of Subspace who can speak, Sonic quickly looses hope of ever leaving and nearly letting himself be consumed by the forces that reside in Subspace. Fortunately for him, a stranger finds him and helps him escape.

Either by pure luck or a guiding hand, Sonic returns back on Earth conveniently where Tails now lives. After the two reconvene and Sonic copes with the fact that its been almost two decades since when he got trapped, Sonic pitches the idea that they go and reconnect with all his old friends. Just like old times! Well, if it goes as planned, at least...

Aurora the Porcupine

The byproduct of a project that never had any hope of succeeding, Aurora's original purpose was to simply be "the better Project Shadow". However, lack of thorough research and the fury of the god's wraith instead produced him, instead of anything the reference documents planned.

The main quirk Aurora has is the Chaos Emerald embedded directly into his chest. Not only is it the source of his power and strange, servant character, it also keeps him and his body alive. The problem (or really, the lack of it being a problem,) is that the Chaos Emerald refuses to die. No matter how much the body is bruised or the emerald cracks and shatters, the energy within will eventual re-fuse it back together, regardless of will.

Despite this, he remains a wanted head by the government.

Kilometer the Kitsune

The daughter of both Tails and Coraline, She's a tomboyish girl who is a huge daredevil. She takes on such massive risks so consistently, that its accurate to say that she has zero self preservation.

Despite being the daughter of Tails, she lacks the ability to naturally fly. After trying and failing for many years, her father gave pity and constructed a set of cybernetic enhancements that she wears consistently. Her gloves allow her to manipulate and shoot electric energy like they are fireballs, while her boots are actually jet boots. The boots work for both flight and ground movement.

She tries to hide the fact that she's clingy, but its pretty obvious since she is introverted, and her second favorite pass-time is messing around with computers (Like her dad, she looks up to him often.) Ashamed and very knowledgeable about how this makes her quite the social outcast in comparison to her peers.

Strikes the Wolf

Strikes is apart of a long running native tribe on Polaris Island. A long resentment for being outcast from the local wrestling group, and being assigned the almost 24hr shift job of protecting the tribe's treasures has made them quite bitter and detached.

As for the red eye...
While out on their job, completely sleep deprived, something arrived and seemed to be milling about trying to "steal" something from the treasury. Being willfully unprepared for an encounter and actually having to do their job, they attempt to fight whatever's in the room with them. Unfortunately, they knocked the wind out of themselves and got a concussion from falling onto the floor so fast.
The ghost that Strikes was trying to fight, immediately panicked and thought they had died by his hands. The ghost, in an attempt to bring them "back to life", haunts their body.

Ever since, Strikes has immense physical strength despite their lack of real muscle, in exchange of having the spirit of a 500+ year old accident echidna tribe warrior partially posses them (They nicknamed him "Wreck").

Aurora, Kilometer, and Strikes form a delinquent-esque friend group. Despite being rough on the exterior, Strikes is very caring of others. They helped Kilometer often, and the two balance out their social shortcomings.

Coraline the Kitsune

Mother of Kilometer, Coraline is part of a race of foxes who mostly live on a small, quiet remote island. Her family owns a popular hotel there, and she spent a lot of her formative years getting into literature and history. She knows about the specifics of her heritage and the origins of the island. She might be interested in telling it to you, but she's so nervous and skittish that simply trying to start the conversation would make her jump.

The tail defect wasn't at birth. It's the byproduct of her being half mermaid, but she's unsure if this is something she had at birth. Despite the location, kitsune's don't learn how to swim. Out of curiosity and fascination for the ocean, she eventually starting to figure out how to swim herself, which came naturally. She never tells anyone this publicly because she's under the belief that this makes her a freak.

She very much lucked into the relationship btw, good for her.
